Tiffany Zodiac

This is my interpretation of Tiffany's Zodiac Lamp. This shade is composed of mottled green, brown and blue Youghiogheny glass set with six round green jewels and open copper filigree's depicting the twelve Zodiac signs.I scaled the working pattern from an auction catalog photo and drew it directly onto a 20 inch diameter globe mold from Whitemore Durgin. The Zodiac filigree's were chemically etched out of 4 mil copper sheeting. I slumped the large green jewels in my kiln. An Odyssey cap,wheel, and ring were used as mounting hardware. The base is a cast bronze reproduction of Tiffany's Library Base.
