Dual Shade Student Lamp
More than 270 pieces comprise these two small geometric shades. Each shade contains a unique band of green glass scarabs that are separated by pieces of deep ruby red glass. The geometric pieces were constructed using glass
from the Kokomo Glass Company. The ruby red glass is from the Youghiogheny Glass company. The green glass scarabs were purchased from an independant jewelry findings company. The shades are finished off with an antique bronze patina and measure 6" in diameter and about 3 1/2" tall. The student lampbase is solid brass and dates from the middle 20th century. It stands about 19 1/2" tall,13 1/2" wide and 6 1/3" deep. The base was completely rewired and new turn key sockets were installed along with two glass chimneys.
