Tiffany Geometric with Spheres

This is my interpretation of a fine Tiffany geometric lamp with a band of iridescent spheres. The gently domical shade composed of radiating bands of richly colored tiles shading from cherry red, to cinnamon, to amber and then to yellow. A lower pierced band is set with brilliant purple blue-amber iridescent glass spheres. I designed and drew the pattern on an 18 inch Oriental Poppy mold from Odyssey Lamp Systems. The glass used in the lamp is from The Kokomo Glass Company. Catalog #46SPL. It is described as an opalescent mix of red, yellow and opal glass. The 25mm amber gold glass spheres came from www.glassmarbles.com. I fabricated the cap. An Odyssey wheel, and ring were used as mounting hardware. The base is solid cast bronze.
