Geometric Boudoir

Over 170 pieces comprise this small 7" geometric shade. It was constructed using glass entirely from the Kokomo Glass Company. The top of the lamp is finished off with an orange rondel. The glass lamp base dates from the 1920's and was made by the Pallme Konig Glassworks that was located in Bohemia. The lampbase hardware was constructed using a 1 1/2" copper pipe cap, an 8" 4 arm brass spider and a miniature lamp socket. The ends of the spider arms each have small brass oak leaves soldered on to keep the shade from sliding off. The vintage style cord comes through a hole in the lamp base that was drilled out at the factory.
