Handel Interpretation
The design for this lamp is based on an original Handel lamp that I have seen at a few auctions.
I drew the design for this 21 inch diameter lamp on a cone mold from Whitmore Durgin and used Spectrum
glass for the entire lamp. Spectrum #633-7S. An Odyssey ring and wheel were used as mounting hardware.
The glass seemed to translucent allowing the light bulbs to be seen through the glass when lit.
I solved this problem by sandblasting the back side of the glass.
